Android Automotive OS Engineer – Hybrid
Develop Android Automotive OS applications, framework services, and VHAL components for automotive customer projects. Work across connectivity integration, advanced debugging, validation, and testing.
विवरण
- Build and maintain AAOS features, services, and system applications with Kotlin and Java
- Create Android Framework and VHAL features and services using Java and C/C++
- Integrate automotive APIs, connectivity modules, middleware, and HMI components
- Collaborate with engineering teams on system validation activities
- Investigate root causes and perform advanced debugging with ADB, Logcat, and automotive diagnostic tools
- Resolve defects found through testing, validation, and bench testing
- Develop unit and instrumentation test coverage
- Perform functional validation before integration
- Help connect in-vehicle systems with backend platforms, telematics modules, and automaker connected-service ecosystems
आवश्यकताएँ
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, computer engineering, electronic engineering, mechatronics engineering, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience developing native Android applications
- Experience with Android Automotive OS or embedded automotive systems
- Advanced English proficiency
- Strong command of Kotlin, Java, and C/C++
- Experience with Android internals, Android Framework, CarService, VHAL, and IPC/AIDL/HIDL
- Knowledge of MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Android application lifecycle concepts
- Experience using ADB, Logcat, Traceview, and Perfetto
- Familiarity with automotive networks and protocols, including CAN, Automotive Ethernet, and SOME/IP
- Experience with Git, Gerrit, and CI/CD practices
