Tavsif

  • Set the technical direction and roadmap for Core Backend, creating shared services, libraries, and developer tools for Tabby’s engineering teams.
  • Turn recurring cross-team challenges into reusable solutions that raise developer productivity, reliability, and security.
  • Guide the design and evolution of shared backend capabilities, including event-driven communication, application-level encryption, and sensitive data protection.
  • Build internal engineering tools such as the Service Catalog, API Registry, SLO platform, and AI-assisted development tools.
  • Lead complex initiatives from discovery and design through implementation, rollout, and production validation, coordinating across engineers and teams.
  • Partner with tool users to understand their needs, support integrations and migrations, and incorporate feedback into improvements.
  • Work directly in Go, test performance and failure scenarios, and build observability and recovery into systems.
  • Strengthen engineering practices through architecture reviews, technical decisions, mentoring, and documentation.

Talablar

  • At least seven years of backend engineering experience, including building and operating production systems at scale.
  • Strong Go skills and a record of hands-on work in senior technical roles.
  • Deep knowledge of distributed, high-load systems.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Kubernetes, GCP, GitLab, and microservices.
  • Demonstrated ownership of complex initiatives from design to production, including architecture and technology choices with lasting impact.
  • Strong understanding of quality, security, observability, and operational excellence.
  • Experience integrating third-party APIs and contributing to product development.
  • Ability to influence decisions across teams and explain technical subjects clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and raising technical standards across a team or organization.
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • A proactive, independent approach to ambiguous problems.
