Software Engineer, PRIIP Cloud
Provide senior-level support and develop WSD’s PRIIP Cloud platform, including its regulatory document-generation systems. Structure derivatives data and improve platform layers while working with clients and cross-functional teams.
Tavsif
- Provide Level 3 support and develop WSD’s central PRIIP Cloud application platform.
- Resolve technical requests from clients and internal stakeholders, often under tight deadlines.
- Structure data for complex, exotic and novel trades for processing by the platform.
- Build and extend initialization, enrichment, validation and document-generation layers.
- Adapt existing code and precedents, develop in-house applications such as user interfaces and agentic AI tools, or design new approaches.
- Understand how data moves through the platform’s layers and support downstream services across WSD.
- Assist with onboarding clients and integrating them into WSD systems.
- Share client and industry insights with the team to help guide product direction.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects with front-end and back-end engineers, product engineers, quantitative and data analysts, regulatory and legal analysts, and linguists.
- Work quickly and accurately, making effective use of available tools, including in-house AI tools and scripts.

- Experience in structured products, OTC derivatives, investment banking or a related area, with a strong interest in technology and coding; alternatively, solid coding skills and some familiarity with financial concepts.
- Experience or clear aptitude in client-facing technical support.
- Understanding of technical operations in a software environment.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and lead projects.
- Familiarity with XML and JSON.
- Experience making API calls.
- Experience reading or writing scripts to debug application logic.
- Programming or scripting experience, particularly with JavaScript, PHP, HTML, Java, XSLT or SQL.
- Logical, structured problem-solving and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to explain complex topics clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong reading comprehension for interpreting legal documents and regulatory requirements.
- Good organization and prioritization in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Client-focused mindset.
- Experience with Agile ways of working.
- Interest in new tools, technologies and methods, including AI.
- University degree in any subject.
