Tavsif

  • Build secure, efficient, highly available platform frameworks that reduce infrastructure complexity
  • Improve existing systems’ availability, efficiency, and readiness for AI-native workflows
  • Create APIs and tools for service management and large-scale provisioning
  • Use and extend open-source projects such as Kubernetes and Argo CD, contributing improvements upstream where useful
  • Develop agent-driven workflows with change previews and validation
  • Work with service owners and partner teams to make workflows easier to use
  • Troubleshoot production issues and strengthen system reliability and visibility
  • Build interfaces and agent-driven tools to provision and manage services throughout their lifecycle
  • Partner across Airbnb to develop cloud capabilities for AI and machine learning workloads

Talablar

  • Degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • At least five years of professional software engineering experience
  • Experience building developer platforms or large-scale infrastructure interfaces, such as APIs, command-line tools, or declarative configuration
  • Deep knowledge of some of the following: Kubernetes, cluster lifecycle management, infrastructure automation, public cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure), and IaaS offerings
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills and production debugging experience
  • Must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity
  • Experience building tool- or API-using AI agents and evaluating their behavior, contributing to open-source infrastructure projects, or building Kubernetes controllers is an advantage
