Senior Product Engineer, Healthcare AI (Hybrid)
Build full-stack, AI-powered healthcare workflows at Develop Health. Improve benefit verification and prior authorization to help accelerate medication access.
Tavsif
- Partner with users and internal stakeholders to define high-value healthcare problems, focused solutions, and measurable success signals.
- Deliver full-stack features spanning backend services, user interfaces, data models, integrations, and workflow infrastructure.
- Add AI capabilities to healthcare software with production-grade reliability and fallback behavior.
- Make practical product and technical trade-offs while giving teammates and coding agents the context they need.
- Embed testing, observability, safe rollouts, and user feedback into products, then refine them based on results.
- Own major product surfaces and the customer or operational outcomes they enable.
- Guide product direction through customer evidence, operational data, and technical constraints.
- Scale architecture and APIs as products, integrations, and transaction volumes expand.
- Improve engineering and product-development practices while mentoring other engineers.
- Develop expertise in benefit verification, prior authorization, medication-access workflows, healthcare data constraints, and relevant success metrics.
Talablar
- At least three years of experience building and shipping software used by real customers.
- Production experience across the full stack.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals.
- Proficiency in Python and a modern typed frontend technology stack.
- Ability to become productive quickly with TypeScript and React.
- Experience owning products from development through delivery.
- Strong user-facing product judgment and execution.
- Experience working AI-first with coding agents and validating their output.
- Clear communication with engineers, product partners, operators, and customers.
- Experience delivering AI-powered or automation-intensive products in production is a plus.
- Experience with healthcare, clinical workflows, EHRs, payers, pharmacies, or another regulated industry is a plus.
- Early-stage startup experience or a demonstrated ability to thrive with high ownership and limited structure is a plus.
- Experience building workflow products, data-rich interfaces, or third-party integrations is a plus.
