Senior Java Developer — Tax Administration Systems
Build secure tax administration software for Miratech’s public-sector clients. Develop Java microservices and integrations, and contribute to testing and CI/CD.
Tavsif
- Build and maintain tailored software for a major European public-sector technology provider
- Implement software components from design specifications
- Integrate systems and carry out testing
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Write unit tests for software components
- Help estimate project effort and delivery schedules
- Work closely with teammates and project stakeholders
- Contribute technical insights to product roadmaps
- Help triage, analyze, and prioritize incidents
- Maintain and improve CI/CD processes
- Develop a tax administration system for tax declarations, calculations, assessments, and connections to external systems
Talablar
- At least 6 years of Java development experience
- Strong experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus
- Understanding of microservices architecture and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS
- Experience with REST and SOAP integrations and messaging technologies such as Kafka and ActiveMQ
- Good understanding of software testing principles
- Confident English communication skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and distributed teams
- Angular front-end development experience is a plus
- German or Swiss German language skills are a plus
