- Own the delivery and ongoing improvement of secure, resilient, high-throughput backend services built with Java and Scala
- Create and enhance GraphQL and REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures for business-critical processes
- Build responsive, high-performance frontend services with Angular 19, TypeScript, RxJS, and NgRx
- Connect clustered microservices through GraphQL and REST APIs defined with OpenAPI
- Implement and maintain Keycloak-based identity and access management integrations
- Use AI-assisted engineering tools across development, testing, debugging, documentation, and code review workflows
- Strengthen observability, reliability, automation, and operational performance through monitoring, incident response, troubleshooting, and optimization
- Contribute to system architecture conversations, technical design reviews, and engineering standards
- Help operate production services through on-call rotations, incident handling, and ongoing reliability improvements
- Coach fellow engineers through reviews, technical mentorship, and knowledge sharing
- Advance Everbridge’s Public Warning platform to help customers safeguard lives and improve emergency response
- Work across several Scrum teams in a collaborative, cross-functional Agile setting
Talablar
- At least 12 years of professional software engineering experience developing enterprise-grade applications
- Advanced proficiency in Java and Scala
- Strong frontend engineering experience with Angular 19, TypeScript, RxJS, and NgRx
- Background designing and building on-premises platforms with Angular, GraphQL, REST, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and related orchestration tools
- Thorough knowledge of distributed systems, scalability, performance, reliability, and secure software design
- Practical experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and contemporary DevOps methods
- Experience with AI-powered development products such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Windsurf, Kiro, or comparable tools
- Skill in reviewing, validating, and refining AI-generated code for quality, security, and maintainability
- Willingness to keep learning and adopt emerging AI-assisted engineering techniques
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities
- Experience operating production software with observability and monitoring practices
