Senior Frontend Engineer, Media Production — Brazil Remote
Lead the headless frontend architecture for a high-traffic global news platform. Own performance, engineering standards, and AI-assisted development practices.
Tavsif
- Lead the design and delivery of a modern headless frontend architecture for a high-traffic news platform
- Coordinate key frontend releases against an ambitious early-next-year launch target
- Establish frontend standards for code quality, component design, testing, and code reviews
- Own Core Web Vitals, SEO, accessibility, and page-speed performance across user-facing experiences
- Connect scalable headless CMS platforms with internal backend APIs
- Mentor mid-level engineers and collaborate with engineering leadership on architectural decisions
- Apply and continually improve AI-assisted and agentic workflows throughout the engineering lifecycle
Talablar
- At least five years of senior-level ownership of frontend production systems
- Strong production experience with React and Next.js, including SSR, SSG, ISR, and the App Router
- Fluent professional use of TypeScript as the primary programming language
- Demonstrated experience integrating frontends with headless CMS platforms and APIs
- Strong knowledge of Core Web Vitals, CDNs, caching, and asset optimization
- Daily experience using AI coding tools and agentic workflows
- Professional fluency in English for day-to-day collaboration with a US-based team
