Tavsif

  • Deliver engineering services for project design and construction.
  • Assign project tasks using Team Gantt.
  • Oversee technical quality, schedules, QA/QC, and submission compliance.
  • Coordinate design work across disciplines and departments.
  • Engage prospective clients to support business development.
  • Work with clients to address project needs and requirements.
  • Check shop drawing submissions against contract documents.
  • Conduct site investigations and analysis surveys.
  • Apply engineering principles to resolve issues and uphold safety standards.
  • Support the onboarding and development of designers, junior engineers, and other staff.
  • Manage project records in Newforma Konekt.
  • Review and edit colleagues’ project work.
  • Stay current on applicable codes, standards, and local regulations.
  • Help develop company-wide standards and procedures.
  • Prioritize department workloads and allocate staff across projects.
  • Design and implement systems that meet client standards.
  • Conduct life safety analyses and review design submissions.
  • Supervise staff engineers, engineers, and designers, including 1–3 direct and 1–4 indirect reports.
  • Manage projects from contracts and proposals through completion.

Talablar

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field; the position specifies electrical engineering or an equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Active NCEES registration in good standing.
  • At least 10 years of engineering and project management experience at an MEP or AE firm, or an equivalent combination of education and compliance experience; this experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, SKM Power Tools, and Visual or AGI32; Creo Parametric experience is a plus.
  • Expertise in power, lighting, fire alarm, communications, and electronic security systems.
  • Proficiency in one-line distribution diagrams, signal degradation, short-circuit analysis, and energy usage.
  • Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, presentation, and advanced communication skills.
  • Knowledge of 3D imaging cameras and engineering concepts.
  • Strong project management, strategic planning, problem-solving, organization, multitasking, time management, and scheduling skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%.
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.
  • LEED BD+C certification, healthcare engineering experience, a PMP license, and OSHA training are preferred or considered a plus.
