Senior Data Engineer, Snowflake and dbt
Build Snowflake and dbt data pipelines for a global entertainment insights company. Process varied datasets and support client analytics systems remotely from Brazil.
Tavsif
- Develop and maintain data pipelines for data science and client-facing teams
- Monitor pipeline performance and reliability
- Assess, parse, clean, and combine raw data, including information from third-party APIs
- Create ETL workflows using first-, second-, and third-party data
- Advise on data storage, configuration, access tools, and technology or architecture choices
- Write transformations and aggregations for data warehouses and relational and non-relational databases
- Connect data to business intelligence tools such as Tableau
- Contribute to data APIs that bring client data into their applications and systems
- Support application developers with database queries and programming languages
- Coordinate with external vendors on data engineering and architecture work
- Help maintain data accuracy, storage efficiency, and the effectiveness of the data ecosystem
- Use data systems built around Snowflake and dbt
- The project runs through the end of December
Talablar
- At least 3 years of relevant experience for a full-time role
- 3–5 or more years of dbt experience
- At least 3 years of Snowflake experience
- At least 3 years building data pipelines or ETL workflows
- At least 3 years working with cloud infrastructure or technologies such as GCP or AWS
- At least 3 years of SQL and database experience
- Experience with Git, GitHub, or another version control system
- Experience with Dagster or another orchestration tool
- A strong grounding in end-to-end development
- Interest in continuing to build technical expertise
- Currently located in Latin America
