Tavsif

  • Set and deliver the organization’s business intelligence strategy and roadmap
  • Lead the design and deployment of complex, enterprise-scale BI solutions
  • Maintain the accuracy, integrity, and security of business intelligence systems
  • Improve BI solution performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Provide technical direction and mentorship to the BI development team
  • Establish and uphold comprehensive data governance policies and practices
  • Partner with executive leaders to connect BI priorities with organizational objectives
  • Represent the organization at relevant industry conferences and professional forums
  • Coach and support junior business intelligence developers
  • Partner with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to assess data needs and deliver dependable BI solutions
  • Coordinate with IT, operations, and compliance teams to integrate BI capabilities and advance organizational goals

Talablar

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related discipline
  • At least 8 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field
  • A more advanced relevant degree may replace some experience requirements
  • Relevant professional experience may substitute for the stated education requirements
  • Candidates without a degree must have at least 12 years of related experience
  • Expertise with business intelligence platforms such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Strong SQL capabilities, including complex queries against relational databases
  • Extensive experience with ETL, data integration, and data warehousing
  • Thorough knowledge of business intelligence and data warehousing principles
  • Advanced experience using reporting platforms, including Power BI
  • Strong SQL ability and experience developing complex, highly optimized queries
  • Experience with application development
  • Ability to obtain and retain a U.S. Secret security clearance
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • Aerospace and defense industry experience is preferred
  • Certification in business intelligence or data analytics is preferred
  • Experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS or Azure is preferred
  • Substantial experience with business intelligence tools is preferred
  • Familiarity with OLAP and tabular model design principles
  • Advanced skills in DAX and Power Query (M)
  • Experience developing dashboards, managing workspaces, and configuring role-level security
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server technologies, including SSIS, SSAS, and stored procedures
  • Knowledge of Python, Scala, PySpark, or R is advantageous
  • Data profiling experience
  • Knowledge of multiple development methodologies, preferably Agile
  • Ability to explain technical information to nontechnical audiences
  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods
  • Frequent communication with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Ability to work in an office or hybrid setting
  • Occasional travel may be required
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 10 pounds
