Senior Backend Software Engineer, C++ — India Remote
Build scalable iPaaS and API integration software at Jitterbit as a senior C++ backend engineer. Design distributed systems and backend features using cloud, microservices, and messaging technologies.
Tavsif
- Develop features for Jitterbit’s iPaaS and APIM platforms.
- Use C++, Java, Lua, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, Nginx, Tomcat, Apache, MySQL, SQL Server, Redis, Kafka, Elasticsearch, InfluxDB, and AWS services.
- Own projects from initial design through deployment.
- Maintain scalability, reliability, and performance in a 24/7/365 environment.
- Work with engineering, product, and operations colleagues.
- Produce code that is maintainable, clear, high quality, and extensible.
- Support and mentor fellow engineers and developers.
- Use data to guide technical decisions and contribute to integration and automation work.
Talablar
- At least 10 years of experience building large-scale distributed applications.
- Extensive experience developing multi-tenant SaaS applications.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical abilities, with close attention to detail.
- Experience with microservices and cloud architecture and design patterns.
- Strong Java experience.
- Substantial experience with leading relational databases such as SQL Server and MySQL.
- Excellent skills in authoring JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Proficiency in one or more of JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Node.js, or Go.
- Familiarity with deploying applications using Docker and/or Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as DynamoDB, S3, or CloudFront.
