Description

  • Develop features for Jitterbit’s iPaaS and APIM platforms.
  • Use C++, Java, Lua, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, Nginx, Tomcat, Apache, MySQL, SQL Server, Redis, Kafka, Elasticsearch, InfluxDB, and AWS services.
  • Own projects from initial design through deployment.
  • Maintain scalability, reliability, and performance in a 24/7/365 environment.
  • Work with engineering, product, and operations colleagues.
  • Produce code that is maintainable, clear, high quality, and extensible.
  • Support and mentor fellow engineers and developers.
  • Use data to guide technical decisions and contribute to integration and automation work.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience building large-scale distributed applications.
  • Extensive experience developing multi-tenant SaaS applications.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical abilities, with close attention to detail.
  • Experience with microservices and cloud architecture and design patterns.
  • Strong Java experience.
  • Substantial experience with leading relational databases such as SQL Server and MySQL.
  • Excellent skills in authoring JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
  • Proficiency in one or more of JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Node.js, or Go.
  • Familiarity with deploying applications using Docker and/or Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as DynamoDB, S3, or CloudFront.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate on a distributed team and thrive in a remote work culture.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to take on key initiatives.
  • Ability to make decisions informed by data.
