Tavsif

  • Help develop payment infrastructure for merchants and partner platforms
  • Own complete payment lifecycles in TypeScript/NestJS services, from authorization and capture through refunds, disputes, and payout confirmation
  • Create and maintain processor and acquirer integrations through well-defined internal abstractions
  • Design embedded and hosted checkout solutions using hosted fields, iframes, and tokenization to reduce PCI scope
  • Develop fee and pricing logic for tiered, interchange-plus, flat-rate, rounded, special-rate, and edge-case scenarios
  • Build reconciliation and settlement systems that compare processor reports and settlement files with internal records
  • Engineer resilient event processing with idempotency keys, webhook deduplication, out-of-order handling, backoff retries, and state machines
  • Connect fraud, bank-account verification, and KYC services, then refine decisioning based on observed outcomes
  • Manage ACH processes, including submission windows, returns, return codes, NOCs, and retry policies
  • Protect financial-domain accuracy while maintaining complete audit trails and reconciliation evidence
  • Serve as the payments subject-matter expert, guide product decisions about payment rails, and review related code
  • Work closely with a US-based team during 4–6 hours of overlap with US Central Time

Talablar

  • At least six years of professional software engineering experience
  • Three or more years of hands-on work with payment systems or processing
  • Strong backend development skills in Go, TypeScript, and Node.js
  • Experience owning production payment flows beyond straightforward payment API integrations
  • Experience integrating providers such as Stripe, Adyen, Braintree, Checkout.com, Worldpay, Fiserv, or comparable processors, gateways, and acquirers
  • Thorough knowledge of the card-payment lifecycle, including authorization, capture, settlement, refunds, chargebacks, and disputes
  • Knowledge of bank payment rails; ACH/NACHA experience, including returns and transaction timing, is preferred
  • Experience implementing payment reconciliation and settlement
  • Strong command of webhooks, retries, idempotency, asynchronous processing, and distributed-system failure modes
  • Experience modeling relational data for transaction-intensive systems
  • Knowledge of PCI DSS and secure payment patterns such as tokenization and sensitive-data isolation
  • Exceptional focus on correctness and financial-system edge cases
  • Comfort using modern AI-assisted development tools
  • Fluent English communication and confidence collaborating directly with a US-based team
  • Availability for four to six hours of daily overlap with US Central Time
  • Bonus: Experience with platform, marketplace, or facilitator models, including split payments, sub-merchant onboarding, and multi-party flows
