Tavsif

  • Own a multi-tenant reporting architecture serving more than 3,000 tenants and millions of processed records.
  • Lead the migration of legacy MSSQL and SSRS reporting systems to Node.js, Aurora MySQL, and AWS infrastructure.
  • Build, maintain, and scale ETL pipelines, data replication processes, and data synchronization engines.
  • Diagnose database performance issues through index optimization, denormalized columns, and rollup tables.
  • Design and develop scalable REST APIs for SaaS reporting capabilities.
  • Partner with Product to convert reporting requirements into practical technical implementation plans.
  • Collaborate with Frontend Engineers to deliver data visualizations.
  • Contribute to code reviews and create automated integration and unit tests.
  • Apply modern engineering best practices to backend code and data models.

Talablar

  • At least 5 years of backend software engineering experience focused on database architecture, data processing, ETL, and reporting systems.
  • Strong JavaScript ES6+ and Node.js experience, including Express, Fastify, and AWS Lambda.
  • Advanced practical experience with MySQL, modern ORMs such as Sequelize, and optimized raw SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services including Aurora Serverless, DynamoDB, and SQS.
  • A proven track record of database migrations or legacy system modernization.
  • Strong knowledge of indexing, stored procedures, denormalization strategies, and rollup tables for reporting.
  • Extensive experience developing ETL pipelines, data replication workflows, and high-volume data synchronization engines.
  • Experience using modern ORMs and recognizing when raw SQL is preferable for performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong user empathy and a genuine interest in understanding how customers use Commerce7.
