Tavsif

  • Build and maintain backend services and APIs from design through production.
  • Lead complex features and subsystems across multiple services.
  • Design systems for large data volumes, multi-tenancy, performance, and cloud cost efficiency.
  • Investigate issues across systems.
  • Profile and optimize production code.
  • Spot risks before they affect customers.
  • Use AI tools in daily engineering work, critically reviewing their output.
  • Improve team practices and code quality through design proposals and code reviews.
  • Mentor colleagues.

Talablar

  • A master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • At least seven years of hands-on backend development experience.
  • Experience leading significant features from design through delivery.
  • Deep expertise in at least one backend language: Node.js/TypeScript, PHP, Go, or Python.
  • Production experience with two or more backend languages is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to quickly understand complex systems and take ownership of key components.
  • Strong software design and distributed systems fundamentals, including event-driven architectures, queues, database performance, and testing.
  • Experience with AWS, including serverless services, containers, and infrastructure as code.
  • Experience with observability tools.
  • Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • An equivalent engineering school degree or a master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Fluency in English and French.
