Remote Accounting Associate – U.S. Accounting and Tax

Support Manay CPA’s U.S. bookkeeping, payroll, audit, and tax services as an Accounting Associate. This full-time role is remote from anywhere in Turkey.

Tavsif

  • Onboard new clients and configure their accounting systems
  • Handle daily bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable, month-end close processes, and financial reporting and analysis
  • Use company software to complete accounting, reporting, and tax-related work
  • Prepare payroll, sales tax returns, depreciation schedules, and other accounting records
  • Support audit engagements and account reconciliations
  • Evaluate financial data to project revenue and assess profit margins
  • Prepare and submit U.S. corporate and individual income tax returns, including 1099 forms and year-end filings
  • Investigate complex accounting and tax matters and develop practical resolutions
  • Support special initiatives and the preparation of financial reports

Talablar

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, or a related discipline
  • At least two years of experience in accounting, auditing, and/or taxation
  • Turkish CPA (SMMM) licensure is a strong advantage
  • Experience providing outsourced accounting services is a strong advantage
  • Experience with U.S. GAAP is a strong advantage
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience using accounting software systems is a strong advantage
  • Strong written and spoken business English; all interviews are conducted in English
  • Capacity for sophisticated, creative analysis of complex data
  • Strong quantitative and analytical judgment
  • Effective collaboration across teams
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in ambiguous situations
  • Ability to prioritize competing tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Careful attention to detail and consistent adherence to established procedures
  • A suitable home-office setup
  • Availability to work according to U.S. time zones, including Eastern Time
  • Willingness to travel when required
