Tavsif
- Contribute to naval architecture work with BMT teams across the UK.
- Collaborate with experienced naval architects, engineers and technical specialists.
- Support vessel design and provide technical consultancy.
- Apply academic knowledge to a range of vessels, projects and engineering challenges.
- Help design and develop ships, submarines and specialist craft.
- Carry out naval architecture studies and technical assessments.
- Support work on vessel performance, stability, structures and general arrangements.
- Assist existing vessels in service and develop solutions to operational needs.
- Research emerging technologies and future maritime challenges.
- Take part in BMT’s two-year graduate development programme.
- Build skills through tailored training, varied projects and mentoring.
- Work towards professional registration and Chartership if desired.
Talablar
- Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in naval architecture or a closely related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Communicate technical ideas clearly in writing and speech.
- Work effectively with colleagues across multidisciplinary teams.
- Show enthusiasm for engineering problem-solving and delivering high-quality client work.
- Pay close attention to detail and be willing to learn.
- Aim to develop professionally and, if desired, pursue Chartered Engineer status.
- Have resided in the UK for the past five years.
- Obtain full UK security clearance.
