- Lead the Data Engineering team by setting priorities, maintaining alignment, and supporting consistent delivery
- Provide technical direction on architecture, engineering standards, and proven practices
- Support team growth through feedback, coaching, and career development
- Manage the technical backlog, recurring follow-ups, and coordination with the Head of Data
- Drive the delivery and ongoing improvement of scalable, high-performance, governed data architectures
- Establish engineering standards for data ingestion, transformation, version control, and publishing
- Coordinate reliable data integration across internal and external sources
- Help strengthen Sólides’ engineering and data culture
Talablar
- Demonstrated experience building and operating scalable, production-grade data engineering systems
- Prior experience in technical leadership, team coordination, or acting as a senior technical authority
- Advanced SQL skills and practical Python experience
- Hands-on experience with PySpark and cloud data platforms such as Databricks or Lakehouse environments
- Experience orchestrating data pipelines with Airflow, dbt, or comparable tools
- Strong understanding of data modeling and analytical data layers
- Knowledge of software engineering practices for data systems, including testing, version control, and CI/CD
- Understanding of modern data architecture, governance, security, and privacy
- Clear communication skills with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively
- Pragmatic, analytical approach with strong ownership and focus on outcomes
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline
