Data Analyst – Power BI & Power Platform | KBR | Warrington, UK

Build Power BI dashboards, reports, datasets, and integrations for KBR’s UK nuclear infrastructure programmes. Support Sellafield decommissioning and major project delivery from an onsite Warrington role.

Tavsif

  • Create, develop, and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards that meet client requirements.
  • Connect Power BI with organisational sources such as Excel, SharePoint lists, and Dataverse.
  • Develop tailored business reports, user interfaces, data models, and workflows.
  • Build workflow automations using Power BI.
  • Create integrations linking the Power Platform with third-party applications and databases.
  • Develop bespoke Power BI reports and dashboard solutions.
  • Gather requirements from business stakeholders and document their processes.
  • Support users by troubleshooting and maintaining custom Power BI solutions.
  • Work with IT teams and stakeholders to align solutions with technology strategy and business objectives.
  • Build Power BI dashboards, reports, and datasets for project needs.
  • Produce custom SSRS and paginated reports.
  • Develop SSIS packages that transfer data into reporting databases.
  • Deliver bespoke reporting and provide project support.

Talablar

  • Must have the right to live and work in the United Kingdom; sponsorship is unavailable.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, particularly Power Platform and Power BI.
  • Working knowledge of SQL Server, Dataverse, and Data Fabric.
  • Working knowledge of Excel.
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint Online.
  • Demonstrated experience creating complex Power BI dashboards.
  • Proficiency with DAX, Power Query, and SQL.
  • Sound understanding of data analysis principles and concepts.
  • Ability to interpret data, identify its narrative, and communicate findings clearly.
  • Familiarity with lightweight ETL, data cleansing, data wrangling, and preparation.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on reducing errors.
  • Able to work systematically through lengthy assignments.
  • Able to follow, understand, and justify company procedures.
  • Able to meet demanding deadlines and work outside standard hours when required.
  • Comfortable presenting to varied audiences through training, progress updates, and software demonstrations.
  • Confident working with employees at all levels, including senior management.
  • Able to produce clear, concise written English.
  • Able to investigate problems and identify possible solutions.
  • Microsoft certifications such as PL-200 or PL-300 are desirable.
  • Experience with on-premises or legacy Microsoft SQL Server environments, including SSRS and SSIS, is desirable.
  • Public sector project experience is desirable.
  • Experience with UK Government security requirements is desirable.
  • Experience with Microsoft Data Factory or a comparable structured database environment is desirable.
  • Experience with adjacent Power Platform technologies, including Power Automate, is desirable.
