Tavsif

  • Lead development and lifecycle management of consumer banking and credit servicing applications.
  • Design systems and architectures hands-on for time-sensitive projects.
  • Guide Agile teams through the SAFe development lifecycle.
  • Introduce new technologies and help developers migrate to them.
  • Architect full-stack applications across PCF, cloud-native platforms, microservices, J2EE, Spring Java, and REST APIs.
  • Design data models for complex business processes.
  • Set CI/CD direction using Jenkins, Bitbucket, and uDeploy.
  • Partner with software developers, UX designers, product managers, application architects, and customer application specialists.
  • Mentor and influence colleagues at every level.
  • Ensure solutions meet Synchrony’s architecture, security, and technology standards.
  • Maintain the target-state architecture strategy and modernization and migration roadmap.
  • Join Agile scrums and lead sprint planning, standups, backlog refinement, and reviews.
  • Maintain application code quality across development, testing, and QA.
  • Review root cause analyses and incident reports, and guide issue resolution.
  • Investigate production defects, troubleshoot systems, determine causes, and implement fixes.
  • Provide periodic 24/7 on-call support.
  • Find opportunities to improve efficiency and system performance.
  • Work with third-party vendors to develop or integrate software.
  • Handle other duties and special projects as assigned.

Talablar

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of software engineering experience, or a high school diploma/GED and at least 10 years of software engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
  • At least 6 years of application development experience.
  • Background developing with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
  • Strong expertise in solution and event-driven architecture, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies.
  • Experience with PCF, cloud-native application architecture, microservices, J2EE, Spring Java, and REST APIs.
  • Critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving ability.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel for business as needed.
  • Experience building and consuming SOAP and REST web services.
  • Expertise with continuous integration environments.
  • Experience writing unit, integration, and UI tests.
  • Knowledge of responsive web design and support across devices.
  • Strong experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
  • Experience using Splunk for production support.
  • Experience with database architecture and modeling; familiarity with MySQL, SQL, and GemFire.
  • Familiarity with JSON, REST, and XML-based web services.
  • Working knowledge of the mobile industry.
  • Experience developing and supporting financial or banking applications.
  • Experience using developer AI tools such as GitHub Copilot.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be willing to take a drug test, undergo a background investigation, and provide fingerprints.
  • Must meet Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is unavailable.
