Lead patient-access technology and precertification operations for Ohio State University Medical Center. Improve access, regulatory compliance, hospital-service delivery, and reimbursement through optimized systems and processes.
Tavsif
- Lead projects and technology development across the Medical Center
- Improve precertification work queues and team productivity
- Introduce technology that strengthens the precertification process
- Oversee admission notifications and internal and external BOT technology
- Use EPIC hospital billing systems, including EmPA and ASA
- Act as the subject matter expert on external insurer processes and portals
- Expand effective technology use within the hospital billing system
- Support the rollout of new programs
- Create and track outcome measures
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and other regulatory requirements
- Assess complex matters and follow appropriate escalation procedures
- Deliver high-level, considerate customer service
- Put the Medical Center’s strategic plan into practice to advance access, services, and reimbursement
Talablar
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Demonstrated leadership and management experience
- Computer proficiency required
- Proficiency with relevant applications and systems
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Professional conduct and the ability to earn confidence across organizational levels
- Successful background-check completion required for final candidates
- A drug screen or physical examination may be required after an offer
