Opis

  • Prepare and report on departmental budgets and strategic plans.
  • Research financial and budget matters, and develop budget and staffing forecasts.
  • Work with the Budget Office to prepare and submit annual budgets and forecast staffing and costs.
  • Track departmental spending and budget performance, including projections and position control.
  • Assess the financial impact of items submitted to the board.
  • Advise leaders and finance colleagues on long-range forecasts for revenue, spending, service demand, and related business issues.
  • Check departmental financial statements for accuracy, reasonableness, and compliance with budget policies and applicable standards and laws.
  • Help establish departmental goals, policies, procedures, and work standards.
  • Contribute to financial analysis, planning, budgeting, and cost accounting as needed.
  • Measure and analyze processes, then implement changes to improve efficiency.
  • Take on other duties as assigned.

Zahteve

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of professional accounting or finance experience; 6 years required without a degree.
  • Advanced education or experience may substitute year for year.
  • Must be based locally in Phoenix, Arizona.
  • Must report in person on the first day to collect equipment.
  • Background check required.
  • Global ID facial biometrics required.
