Lead the architecture and development of scalable agentic AI applications and multi-agent systems at Walmart. Partner across engineering, data science, product, and business teams to deliver enterprise AI products.
Opis
- Build and deploy scalable agentic AI applications and multi-agent systems.
- Guide architecture and technical design for secure, highly available, high-performance platforms.
- Turn business requirements, operational workflows, and user needs into production-ready solutions.
- Work with product managers, data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders.
- Lead the full development lifecycle, from solution design and implementation to deployment, monitoring, and ongoing improvement.
- Integrate AI platforms and APIs with enterprise systems and large-scale data environments.
- Promote engineering quality through code review, testing, observability, and sound operational practices.
- Set development standards for agentic AI, prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, and LLM integration.
- Mentor and support engineers across teams.
- Help shape technology roadmaps and the direction of Walmart’s AI-powered products.
Zahteve
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related field plus 4 years of software engineering or related experience; alternatively, 6 years of relevant experience.
- Significant experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems and enterprise applications.
- Advanced proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Experience designing and delivering scalable cloud-native applications and microservices architectures.
- Knowledge of AI and machine learning, large language models, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and agentic frameworks.
- Strong grounding in software design, system architecture, API development, and cloud platforms.
- Experience with data platforms, analytics systems, and modern engineering toolchains.
- Ability to influence technical strategy and lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience mentoring engineers and taking technical projects from concept through production.
- Preferred: advanced degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related field.
- Preferred: experience with vector databases, knowledge graphs, LLM orchestration, AI evaluation frameworks, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or AWS.
- Preferred: familiarity with retail, supply chain, omnichannel commerce, logistics, or operational systems.
- Preferred: knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility practices.
