Staff Backend Engineer, AXON Networks
Build SaaS services for AXON Networks’ AI-driven network orchestration platform. Lead backend architecture, cloud integrations, and technical mentoring.
Opis
- Build SaaS components for a software-defined network orchestration platform.
- Partner with DevOps, system test engineering, and CPE teams on system integration, performance, and testing.
- Keep current with backend engineering trends and technologies.
- Set direction for backend architecture.
- Mentor and support backend developers.
Zahteve
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software, or an equivalent field.
- At least 10 years of software development experience, particularly in a cloud engineering role.
- At least 10 years of experience with major cloud languages such as Java, Go, Python, and Node.js; Java or Go preferred.
- Experience designing and deploying microservices systems.
- Knowledge of web services, APIs, REST, and RPC.
- Experience with the Spring Boot framework.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools for software engineering, including reviewing, validating, and refining generated work.
- Experience with distributed messaging and streaming platforms such as Pulsar, Kafka, and MQTT.
- Strong knowledge of networking and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP, and distributed networks.
- Experience with SQL, NoSQL, and time-series databases, and data stores such as Postgres, MongoDB, Redis, and Cassandra.
- Experience with service-oriented applications and cloud services, preferably AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Linux or Unix, and Docker.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, data scientists, and subject matter experts.
- Experience mentoring and guiding developers and strengthening a backend team’s technical expertise.
