Senior Steam Turbine Product Service Engineer
Lead root-cause investigations into steam turbine issues and advance reliability initiatives at GE Vernova. Develop customer-focused technical solutions in partnership with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and customers.
Opis
- Lead broad, high-impact projects and initiatives for the Product Service business.
- Take technical ownership of resolving complex steam turbine issues.
- Coach colleagues and share expertise through mentoring and training.
- Bring engineering, design, commercial, manufacturing, supplier, and other teams together to work across functions.
- Create and implement technical solutions that address customer needs.
- Arrange and deliver presentations at technical conferences and customer events.
- Direct cross-functional root-cause investigations into GE equipment non-conformances.
- Drive efforts to improve startup reliability and availability and reduce trips.
- Support new-unit installation and startup, outage work scopes, and critical Engineering Request issues.
- Write internal and external communications, and guide others in preparing TILS, ETC, and customer presentations.
- Feed fleet and product issues into the NPI process and share them with GE Vernova leadership.
- Spot opportunities and advance the development of effective offerings.
- Join global product service meetings and share expertise with the team.
Zahteve
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering.
- At least eight years of experience in steam turbine design, maintenance, or a similar area.
- Proven expertise in steam turbine design, installation, and/or maintenance.
- Master of Science degree in engineering or a related discipline.
- Initiative and interpersonal skills to lead cross-functional projects through completion.
