Opis

  • Build and maintain reliable backend services, APIs, and distributed systems, primarily in Go.
  • Design secure connectivity for service registration, orchestration, routing, and proxy or relay communication.
  • Lead technical initiatives from solution design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Improve cloud-native services on AWS and GCP, focusing on scale, reliability, security, and operational efficiency.
  • Contribute as needed to frontend applications and platform management tools built with TypeScript and React.
  • Diagnose complex problems across application code, cloud infrastructure, networking, and distributed services.
  • Advance automated testing, observability, monitoring, and operational readiness.
  • Guide technical design, code reviews, and architecture decisions, while mentoring fellow engineers.
  • Work with Product, Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, and engineering teams on cross-functional solutions.
  • Join the on-call rotation, resolve production incidents, find root causes, and prevent repeat issues.

Zahteve

  • Bring at least five years of professional software engineering experience, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Have strong backend development skills in Go or a comparable language, and be ready to become productive in Go.
  • Have experience designing, building, and operating production services using REST APIs, microservices, and distributed system architectures.
  • Have hands-on experience developing and operating cloud-native applications on platforms such as AWS or GCP.
  • Understand networking fundamentals, including HTTP/TLS, TCP/IP, DNS, and service-to-service communication.
  • Have experience designing for scalability, reliability, fault tolerance, and recovery from failures.
  • Be able to independently investigate and troubleshoot complex issues across application code, infrastructure, and services.
  • Have experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and modern software development practices.
  • Bring strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to drive technical decisions and complex work independently.
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or have equivalent practical experience.
  • Preferred: Experience with TypeScript, React, or similar frontend technologies.
  • Preferred: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, or other cloud-native tools.
  • Preferred: Experience with cloud networking such as AWS PrivateLink, GCP Private Service Connect, VPC networking, proxies, or secure tunneling.
  • Preferred: Experience with event-driven systems and messaging tools such as Kafka, Redis, or Pub/Sub.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with observability tools and practices, including Datadog, metrics, logging, and distributed tracing.
  • Preferred: Experience with security concepts such as authentication, certificates, secrets management, and encryption.
  • Preferred: Experience building cloud platform services for provisioning, orchestration, resource lifecycle management, or secure connectivity.
  • Preferred: Experience with multi-cloud environments, multi-tenant SaaS platforms, or enterprise security requirements.
  • Be able to perform the role in compliance with U.S. export controls.
