Senior Middleware Messaging Engineer
Design high-volume, geographically distributed messaging integrations and resilient middleware infrastructure for CSC, a global business, legal, and financial services company.

- Lead the architecture and design of middleware messaging and streaming integrations.
- Build and deploy messaging infrastructure across regions and data centers.
- Assess, select, and implement messaging and streaming technologies.
- Promote event-driven architecture practices across integration projects.
- Turn stakeholder needs into scalable, resilient, geographically distributed designs.
- Maintain availability, fault tolerance, and performance under heavy traffic.
- Create multi-data-center active-active and active-passive designs with automated failover and disaster recovery.
- Set and uphold deployment, monitoring, and operations standards through automation.
- Coach junior engineers on integration patterns, geographic distribution, and engineering practices.
Zahteve
- Hands-on expertise in event-driven architecture and middleware messaging integration patterns.
- Demonstrated experience with Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ, ActiveMQ, or comparable platforms.
- Experience building streaming integrations with Kafka Streams, StreamNative, Redpanda, or equivalent tools.
- Experience with AWS SNS/SQS, Azure Service Bus, GCP Pub/Sub, and multi-region cloud deployments.
- Experience running messaging platforms on Kubernetes and Docker across multiple clusters and regions.
- Practical experience designing and deploying messaging platforms across data centers and geographic regions.
- Expertise in geo-replication, cross-data-center mirroring, and regional routing.
- Ability to build messaging solutions for high throughput and low latency.
- Ability to design and deploy highly available, fault-tolerant, redundant systems.
- Experience deploying and managing components in clustered environments.
- Proficiency in high-volume, low-latency, resilient messaging architecture.
- 10–12 years of industry experience in middleware messaging integration roles.
- Preferred: automation and infrastructure-as-code experience.
- Preferred: experience integrating API management platforms.
- Preferred: experience with the Elastic observability platform.
