Senior Frontend Engineer (Angular), Remote in Switzerland
Build modern Angular applications for a Swiss insurance client, shaping frontend architecture and improving testing, accessibility, performance, and delivery.
Opis
- Build and improve modern frontend applications in an agile team.
- Analyze complex business and technical needs, then implement solutions independently.
- Maintain application quality, performance, maintainability, and scalability.
- Help guide architecture and technology choices.
- Work closely with Product Owners, UX/UI Designers, and Backend Developers.
- Encourage sound engineering practices through testing and code reviews.
- Deliver reliably and on schedule as part of the product team.
- Find and implement ways to improve applications and development processes.
- Take part in technical discussions and advance the frontend landscape.
- Use AI coding assistants effectively to improve development quality and efficiency.
Zahteve
- Hands-on frontend development experience with Angular, HTML, TypeScript, and SCSS.
- Strong interest in excellent user experiences and extensive knowledge of Web Components, accessibility, and usability.
- Experience working with DevOps and cloud environments.
- Experience building end-to-end and UI tests using Storybook and Chromatic.
- Ability to develop architecture-compliant solutions and document them clearly.
- Proficiency with modern AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot.
- Backend development experience with Java, and willingness to work on backend tasks, are advantageous.
- Excellent German and English skills.
