Lead audit engagements for construction clients at CLA, a national professional services firm. Prepare financial statements, assess internal controls, and guide audit staff.
Opis
- Manage construction-client audit engagements from planning through completion.
- Oversee audit budgets and engagement planning.
- Conduct fieldwork and direct audit staff.
- Prepare financial statements and related disclosures.
- Review clients’ accounting and operating procedures.
- Design and evaluate internal controls and their implementation.
- Draft financial statement disclosures and correspondence about reportable conditions.
- Communicate technical matters clearly and proactively with staff, management, and clients.
Zahteve
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- At least two years of public accounting audit experience.
- Experience emphasizing financial statement preparation, audits, reviews, and compilations.
- Ability to travel to client sites, including occasional overnight trips.
- Current CPA license or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam preferred.
- Experience at an established public accounting or professional services firm preferred.
