Senior Accountant, Omnicare
Support accounting operations for Omnicare, CVS Health’s long-term care pharmacy services provider. Manage close, reporting, controls, audits, ERP processes, and transition readiness.
Opis
- Handle daily accounting operations and provide support across the accounting function
- Prepare and record journal entries
- Reconcile accounts monthly, quarterly, and annually
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
- Research and resolve accounting variances and unusual transactions
- Maintain schedules and records for balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Develop financial schedules, analyses, statements, reporting packages, variance reviews, and audit schedules
- Carry out internal controls and support SOX compliance and control testing
- Address auditor requests and assist with internal and external audits
- Support accounting systems, ERP workflows, reporting tools, system updates, automation, and process improvements
- Help transition accounting work from shared services and complete TSA exit activities
- Work with Finance, Revenue Cycle, Procurement, HR, and IT
- Partner with the Accounting Manager and Finance organization to deliver accurate reporting, effective controls, and efficient processes
Zahteve
- At least four years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SOX controls, and financial reporting principles
- Experience preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts
- Experience supporting month-end close
- Experience using ERP systems and financial reporting tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA preferred; CPA candidates strongly encouraged to apply
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
