- Lead a team of 12 overseeing data stewardship and governance across Capital One UK.
- Build an environment where data is easy to find, reliable and usable.
- Create data quality frameworks with measurable standards and success criteria.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations and enterprise policies.
- Manage data risks with accountable executives and the data protection officer.
- Set and lead the organisation’s data management strategy.
- Work with senior leaders and teams to clarify and deliver data management responsibilities.
- Oversee data throughout its lifecycle, from ingestion through archiving.
- Partner across the enterprise to bring UK requirements into wider change initiatives.
- Encourage decisions informed by data across the organisation.
- Report to the Head of Data.
