Opis

  • Support environmental assessment and remediation programs for U.S. federal agencies and industrial clients
  • Contribute to the design and optimization of water and vapor treatment systems
  • Take part in field investigations, sampling, pilot programs, and full-scale remediation work
  • Oversee remediation system operations and maintenance
  • Design and supervise system improvements and upgrades
  • Investigate soil and groundwater conditions and collect samples
  • Conduct site characterization, remedial design, and feasibility studies
  • Compile, assess, and quality-check project data
  • Prepare reports, permit applications, cost estimates, and construction documents
  • Work with project managers and senior engineering staff
  • Assist with drilling oversight, groundwater well installation and sampling, subcontractor supervision, vapor intrusion and soil gas surveys, and remediation system operations and maintenance
  • Assist Pacific Northwest and national emergency response teams under the direction of trained incident responders
  • Meet in person with clients, technical teams, and other stakeholders

Zahteve

  • Bachelor of Science in geology, engineering, or a closely related field such as environmental, biological, or physical science
  • Strong organizational and team-building abilities
  • Comfort working in a changing workflow
  • Able to travel periodically, including on short notice, regionally and within the United States
  • Able to perform both field and office work
  • Preferred: Master of Science in geology, engineering, or a closely related field
  • Preferred: Current OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training
  • Preferred: Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification for candidates pursuing an engineering degree
