Cloud Security Engineer, AWS
Protect Vanguard’s AWS environment by managing identity and access, monitoring threats, assessing vulnerabilities, and applying DevSecOps controls. Contribute to cloud modernization and wider enterprise security initiatives.
Opis
- Build and maintain AWS security solutions, controls, and platforms.
- Monitor cloud security tools, alerts, and applications.
- Investigate and resolve AWS security and IAM incidents, escalating issues when needed.
- Maintain cloud security standards, testing methods, log analysis processes, and vulnerability assessment practices.
- Conduct security reviews and risk assessments, then support remediation.
- Review access logs, audit trails, and security events for suspicious or unauthorized activity.
- Work with engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, and application teams to deliver secure cloud solutions.
- Support IAM programs covering access controls, role-based access, least privilege, and cloud identity governance.
- Keep technical documentation, operating procedures, security standards, and knowledge articles up to date.
- Contribute to security projects and cloud modernization efforts.
- Improve cloud security processes, automation, operational efficiency, and risk reduction.
Zahteve
- At least three years of relevant work experience.
- A related undergraduate degree, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Strong understanding of AWS security frameworks, best practices, governance models, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency with AWS services and platforms, including IAM policies, roles, permissions, and API actions.
- Practical experience configuring AWS security.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex AWS security and IAM issues.
- Experience with cloud security monitoring, security event investigations, log analysis, and incident response.
- Experience with automation tools and scripting languages such as Python, JSON, YAML, and Rego.
- Hands-on experience with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD technologies, including CloudFormation and Terraform.
- Experience with CSPM and CIEM tools such as Wiz.
- Knowledge of identity security, access governance, privileged access management, and cloud-native security controls.
- Familiarity with vulnerability management, risk assessment, threat detection, and security compliance programs.
- Ability to work across teams and explain security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
