- Shape business decisions by ensuring financial and statistical analyses reflect accurate business drivers across the Capital Markets Solutions team.
- Build and analyze financial models using complex quantitative and qualitative data from internal and external sources.
- Recommend actions to address complex business challenges.
- Resolve issues that arise in financial modeling.
- Lead technical and analytical staff in resolving model-related issues.
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of data.
- Oversee complex business analysis, drawing on company and industry knowledge, mathematical expertise, and sound analytical methods.
- Evaluate existing and potential investments to assess risk and return trade-offs.
- Present analytical findings and recommendations to business managers, utility partners, and, when needed, external stakeholders.
- Share action plans and priorities with relevant partners.
- Provide specialized knowledge of particular financial instruments or insurance contracts.
- Advise business and CMS senior leaders to ensure risks and analyses related to these items are considered.
- Help maintain effective controls across CMS operations, including by reviewing risk-based transactions.
- Ensure the accuracy of models, data management, and reporting.
Zahteve
- Hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent in mathematics, physics, economics, or another quantitative field.
- Bring at least five years of quantitative analytics experience.
- Have strong relationship-building and communication skills for collaborating with colleagues and influencing customers through recommendations and analytical findings.
- Be proficient in C++.
- Be proficient in Python.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities, including use of statistical analysis and modeling tools.
- Know business operations and processes in depth, and be able to explain them to others.
