Behavioral Health Counselor and Therapist
Provide addiction counseling, conduct patient intake assessments, and contribute to treatment planning at BrightView. Coordinate onsite care with a multidisciplinary team and document patients’ clinical progress.
Opis
- Plan and lead group therapy sessions in line with clinic needs and best-practice guidance
- Complete patient intake assessments
- Use crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
- Contribute to patient treatment plans
- Track patients’ progress toward treatment goals
- Coordinate care with the onsite multidisciplinary team
- Attend required onsite staff and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Record treatment information promptly and thoroughly in the electronic health record
- Comply with regulatory standards and company policies
Zahteve
- At least one year of experience in a related field
- Current entry-level clinical certification or license that meets state requirements, such as CSAC-S
- Education that meets applicable state requirements
- Strong spoken and written communication skills
- Empathy and compassion when supporting patients in recovery
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Flexibility in a changing work environment
- Comfort using multiple communication and documentation systems
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Teams, and Word is preferred
- Experience with harm reduction is a plus
