Opis

  • Build and maintain Azure cloud environments and infrastructure.
  • Create and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform or Bicep.
  • Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration and application deployments.
  • Manage Azure Storage services, including Azure Files and storage accounts.
  • Support cloud file shares, storage permissions and hybrid storage solutions.
  • Diagnose storage connectivity, access, permission and performance problems.
  • Assist with file storage migrations and integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Maintain reusable infrastructure modules and deployment templates.
  • Add automated tests, security checks and quality controls to deployment pipelines.
  • Use DevOps and DevSecOps practices in engineering work.
  • Implement cloud solutions from agreed designs with architects and senior engineers.
  • Support Azure networking, identity, compute, storage and security services.
  • Set up and maintain cloud monitoring, logging and alerts.
  • Investigate and resolve infrastructure, pipeline and deployment problems.
  • Assist with infrastructure changes, upgrades and platform improvements.
  • Contribute to containerisation and modern application deployment where appropriate.
  • Maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures and operational runbooks.
  • Work in Agile delivery teams and contribute to ongoing improvements.
  • Collaborate with cloud engineers, architects, security specialists and delivery teams to automate infrastructure and improve deployments.

Zahteve

  • Hands-on Microsoft Azure experience in cloud engineering or DevOps.
  • Practical experience with Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines and repositories.
  • Experience with Terraform or Bicep for infrastructure as code.
  • Understanding of automated cloud deployments and infrastructure provisioning.
  • Working knowledge of Azure networking, identity, compute and storage services.
  • Working knowledge of Azure Storage, including Azure Files and storage accounts.
  • Understanding of file sharing, SMB connectivity, access permissions and storage security.
  • Experience with Git and source control practices.
  • Good understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD processes.
  • Some scripting and automation experience with PowerShell, Bash or Python.
  • Understanding of cloud monitoring, logging and troubleshooting.
  • Awareness of cloud security, identity and access management, RBAC and secure configuration.
  • Experience diagnosing and resolving infrastructure or deployment issues.
  • Understanding of cloud reliability, scalability and availability.
  • Experience working in Agile or multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle defined tasks independently while working with senior engineers and technical specialists.
  • Must be eligible and willing to obtain and maintain UK Security Check (SC) clearance.
  • Desirable: Microsoft Azure certification, such as AZ-900, AZ-104 or AZ-400.
  • Desirable: Terraform certification or equivalent practical experience.
  • Desirable: Experience with Azure File Sync and hybrid file storage.
  • Desirable: Experience migrating traditional file shares to Azure Files.
  • Desirable: Familiarity with Azure Storage networking, private endpoints and identity-based authentication.
  • Desirable: Experience automating Azure Storage configuration with Terraform, Bicep or PowerShell.
  • Desirable: Exposure to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Desirable: Experience with Azure Landing Zones or enterprise Azure environments.
  • Desirable: Familiarity with GitOps practices.
  • Desirable: Exposure to policy as code or automated governance.
  • Desirable: Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics or Application Insights.
  • Desirable: Understanding of automated security scanning in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Desirable: Experience with Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Desirable: Experience with configuration management or automation tools.
  • Desirable: Experience in public sector, financial services or other regulated environments.
  • Desirable: Exposure to UK government security requirements.
