Opis

  • Record income and expenses while assisting with routine bookkeeping.
  • Reconcile bank accounts each day in Microsoft Dynamics GP and Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations for The Vertus Group’s North American businesses.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly.
  • Assist with journal entries for corporate allocations.
  • Enter employee Client Cardholder expenses.
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects and gather information from multiple sources.
  • Run recurring control reports to check that journal entries are posted correctly.
  • Collaborate with senior finance staff on business unit and corporate financial statements.
  • Use technical accounting knowledge in practical business transactions.
  • Build familiarity with accounting practices across the software and services industry.

Zahteve

  • Be a finalist or part-qualified candidate for a professional accounting qualification such as ACCA or ICMAP.
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Understand bookkeeping and accounts payable and receivable fundamentals.
  • Be able to calculate, post, and maintain accounting figures and financial records.
  • Have strong data entry skills and confidence working with numbers.
  • Know ERP and proprietary software; Microsoft Dynamics GP or Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations experience is preferred.
  • Communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
  • Use Microsoft Office proficiently, especially Excel.
  • Work accurately with close attention to detail.
  • Stay organized while managing competing priorities.
  • Experience in a multi-location organization is an advantage.
