Systems architect role at Thales, developing and validating solutions for defense, aerospace, space and digital systems. The position leads specifications, architecture decisions and integration strategy in a hybrid France-based setting.
Descriere
- Translate operational needs into formal OCD and MRCD documents with PLM, PLA and operational advisors.
- Develop solution architectures that balance stakeholder needs, technology choices, cost, risk and schedule.
- Support the solution lifecycle from evaluation mock-ups through industrial production, including intermediate prototypes.
- Arrange technical meetings and peer reviews to evaluate and validate complete solutions or individual elements.
- Prepare the SSS (System Specification) with support from the System PDA.
- Support requirements allocation in the SSDD and contribute to performance assessments.
- Define critical parameters and interfaces for the primary subsystems.
- Make technical trade-offs between internal and external contributors with guidance from the PDA.
- Partner with the IVVQ manager to establish the integration strategy.
Cerințe
- Engineering degree or equivalent university qualification representing at least five years of post-secondary study at Master’s level.
- At least five years of experience in systems engineering, specification, integration and verification.
- Proficiency with architecture, modeling and requirements-management tools such as Capella, DOORS or Polarion, or equivalent platforms.
- Knowledge of R&T and DDQS processes.
- Ability to recognize technical risks and recommend suitable mitigations.
- High attention to detail, strong organization and the ability to synthesize complex information.
- Experience collaborating across disciplines and within multi-company environments.
- A proactive mindset, creativity and strong interest in technical innovation.
- Security clearance may be required when the role involves access to information classified as a national defense secret.
