Descriere

  • Oversee Treasury Operations for investment transactions, collateral, funding, liabilities, and safekeeping.
  • Handle fixed-income trade settlements and associated principal and income transactions.
  • Support debt issuance and payments, and monitor cash balances at the Federal Reserve.
  • Coordinate collateral pledges for Key contracts, products, and public deposits.
  • Assess operational processes and resolve complex issues.
  • Shift resources to manage peak workloads.
  • Deliver timely management, financial, and regulatory reports.
  • Work with the Department Manager on strategy, major projects, complex issues, and research.
  • Train and advise operations staff, and assist with HR tasks when needed.
  • Drive ongoing improvements to operations processes and procedures.
  • Learn team responsibilities and provide backup during absences or volume spikes.
  • Build partnerships with Lines of Business to address client concerns and advance cross-team work.
  • Lead and contribute to department projects.
  • Work with technology partners to define, test, and deploy bug fixes and smaller system updates.
  • Research issues in depth and share findings with management.
  • Review workflows, update procedures, and develop process maps and responsibility lists.
  • Represent the department in disaster recovery planning and exercises, risk management, and regulatory reviews.
  • Give staff performance feedback and help advance department objectives.
  • Complete required CCAP evaluations and other assigned work.

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience in financial services operations.
  • Treasury Operations experience is preferred.
  • Ability to learn and apply financial concepts across a broad range of products.
  • Strong communication skills for working with external bank clients and internal business partners.
  • Ability to lead multiple projects and set priorities for the team.
  • Ability to work with clients at all levels while safeguarding KeyBank’s financial risk and confidential information.
  • Careful, accurate, and timely work.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work effectively amid frequent change.
  • Initiative to develop ideas beyond established practices.
  • Flexibility and composure under pressure.
  • Strategic perspective and attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to turn ideas or solutions into action.

  • Strong understanding of bond accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of trade and wire platforms, including Lightning and Dovetail.
  • Working knowledge of accounting or Lightning systems, including accounting and general ledger posting.
  • Ability to learn quickly and build deep knowledge across a range of functions.
