Senior Solutions Architect — Worldwide Remote

Scopic is seeking a senior Solutions Architect to guide cloud-native architecture, AI-enabled engineering, and product roadmaps in a global remote environment. The role partners with clients, executives, and engineering teams on technical strategy, solution design, and delivery.

Descriere

  • Help define technical strategy, architecture standards, and engineering priorities
  • Lead product and technical roadmaps for internal products
  • Shape client projects around business needs and product outcomes
  • Design architectures for client and internal products from discovery through delivery
  • Support sales and pre-sales by scoping work, estimating effort, and converting business goals into technical plans
  • Assess and constructively challenge architecture decisions across teams
  • Resolve critical and high-risk technical issues through hands-on involvement
  • Assess build-versus-buy options, technology stacks, and AI adoption against cost, risk, and ROI
  • Represent engineering with executive and client stakeholders, including C-level contacts
  • Mentor tech leads and senior engineers while strengthening code quality, security, and delivery practices

Cerințe

  • Bring 10+ years of software development experience, including at least 3 years as an architect, principal engineer, or tech lead
  • Remain hands-on with coding, pull request reviews, and technical prototyping
  • Understand AI-powered engineering, AI applications in the SDLC, and current AI and agent capabilities
  • Design distributed, cloud-native, scalable systems
  • Own products from problem definition through launch and improvement using user feedback and metrics
  • Work directly with clients or executives on scope, budget, and technical trade-offs
  • Apply sound business judgment to the effects of technical choices on cost, timelines, and revenue
  • Estimate and scope software projects
  • Communicate fluently in written and spoken English
  • Have experience working in a remote, distributed team
