Senior Platform Technical Lead (Python)
Lead development of Juniper Square’s Python platform infrastructure for private markets and fund administration. Improve scalability, developer tooling, APIs, databases, and AI-enabled workflows.
Descriere
- Build and maintain core platform services for identity and access management, authorization, search, and APIs
- Develop tools and frameworks that improve the developer experience throughout the software lifecycle
- Turn product and technical plans into code with engineers, designers, and product managers
- Promote and implement modern architectural patterns
- Extend platform capabilities to handle rapidly growing scale
- Monitor and tune database queries for performance
- Build internal tools that make work more efficient for engineers and other teams
- Write high-quality code and test it thoroughly
- Review colleagues’ code
- Guide, document, and support product teams that use the platform
- Use observability tools to improve frontend performance and reliability
- Work with product engineers to improve the platform
Cerințe
- Bring 6–10 years of experience designing, building, and supporting large-scale production systems
- Have expert Python skills and experience with frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, Pyramid, and Django
- Have experience designing SQL database schemas and optimizing queries
- Have experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Have experience with continuous integration and Infrastructure as Code
- Apply strong problem-solving skills
- Work independently and collaborate effectively with a team
- Be motivated to improve developer experience through tools, automation, and documentation
- Adapt to a fast-paced startup environment
- GraphQL, GenAI/LLMs, microservices, AI-assisted workflows, LLM-powered systems, tool-calling agents, planning and execution loops, RAG, embeddings, semantic search, or AI-powered feature experience is a plus
