- Lead architectural design for hyperscale cloud and colocation data centers through construction administration and closeout
- Coordinate integrated design solutions with engineers, construction teams, and external stakeholders
- Prepare and review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Maintain compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client design guidelines
- Coordinate consultants, contractors, and permitting authorities
- Act as the architectural subject matter expert for hyperscale and colocation clients
- Design facilities for operational efficiency, scalability, and reliability
- Mentor junior architects and designers
- Apply data center design best practices and current industry trends
- Contribute to business development, proposals, and conceptual designs for prospective projects
- Travel occasionally for client meetings, project milestones, onsite collaboration, and other business-critical activities
- Partner with AECOM teams worldwide on major data center projects
Cerințe
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrated experience delivering colocation and hyperscale data center projects
- Knowledge of building codes, mission-critical infrastructure standards, and data center design requirements
- Proficiency with BIM ACC (Revit), AutoCAD, and related design software
- Active U.S. architectural license preferred
- LEED accreditation or comparable sustainable design credential preferred
- At least 5 years of experience applying hyperscale client standards and delivering colocation facilities preferred
- Experience working in fast-paced, globally distributed project environments preferred
- Extensive experience coordinating with permitting authorities and authorities having jurisdiction preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management abilities
- Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary and geographically diverse teams
