Descriere

  • Assess management and internal control processes through audit engagements
  • Approve audit scope, timing, execution, and reporting
  • Present audit findings to management, senior leaders, and the Board of Directors
  • Provide independent assurance over internal controls, risk management, and governance
  • Offer strategic guidance as a trusted advisor
  • Engage business and group stakeholders on evolving strategies, risks, tactics, and initiatives
  • Manage resources and direct strategic initiatives
  • Set priorities and sequence execution of business and group strategies
  • Build business cases and evaluate anticipated return on investment
  • Act as a subject matter expert for stakeholders and Corporate Audit colleagues
  • Lead team members and provide direction
  • Define business requirements for analytics and reporting
  • Create communications highlighting revenue and cost management opportunities
  • Prepare an annual audit plan aligned with client strategies and operating risks
  • Hire and onboard team members when appropriate
  • Build and sustain an engaged team with specialized expertise
  • Verify that subordinate work meets Audit standards and that judgments are documented and well-founded
  • Oversee staff performance and performance evaluations
  • Perform individual and enterprise audits covering inherent, control, internal and external environment, and regulatory risks
  • Complete advisory and other engagements as needed
  • Assess how changing strategies, risks, initiatives, and emerging technologies affect audit and control environments
  • Apply data analytics in advisory work to improve quality and efficiency
  • Preserve audit independence
  • Prepare objective, clear, concise, and timely audit report discussion points
  • Identify control deficiencies and evaluate their magnitude
  • Maintain knowledge of industry, regulatory, economic, and internal environments
  • Ensure audit procedures follow Corporate Audit Methodology
  • Monitor change management initiatives and identify potential risks
  • Contribute to Corporate Audit change initiatives
  • Maintain and advance professional audit qualifications
  • Provide specialist support to senior leaders and stakeholders
  • Resolve complex, non-routine situations and implement responses to changing trends

Cerințe

  • Usually requires 10 or more years of relevant experience
  • Post-secondary degree in a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Professional or business credentials such as CISA, CISSP, CIA, AAIA, or AWS/Azure Cloud certifications
  • AWS or Azure cloud auditing experience is preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Audit Analytics and/or AI applications in audit execution
  • Expert-level verbal and written communication skills
  • Expert-level analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Expert-level ability to influence stakeholders
  • Expert-level collaboration and teamwork skills, particularly across groups
  • Comfort working through ambiguity
  • Expert-level data-driven decision-making skills
  • Work from the Chicago office three days per week in a hybrid arrangement, subject to change
