Descriere

  • Build back-end and front-end features to understand the product, codebase, and teams.
  • Lead architecture and infrastructure projects from initial design through production.
  • Evolve the established PHP monolith into a microservices architecture.
  • Move background processing to TypeScript and Python serverless systems on AWS.
  • Strengthen observability and scale analytics with ClickHouse.
  • Set technical direction and practices for system design, data modeling, code quality, testing, and technology adoption.
  • Guide the agentic software development lifecycle, covering planning, implementation, review, testing, and guardrails for AI coding agents.
  • Write and review critical full-stack code.
  • Support engineers’ development through design and code reviews.
  • Share responsibility for production systems, including the on-call rotation.
  • Work with Product, team leads, and R&D engineers to translate business needs into technical plans.

Cerințe

  • At least 8 years of hands-on software development experience building and operating web applications at scale.
  • At least 2 years as a tech lead, architect, or in a similar role leading cross-functional projects.
  • Strong experience with a backend language such as PHP, TypeScript/Node.js, Python, Java, C#, or a comparable language.
  • Practical experience with an agentic SDLC using AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar tools.
  • Experience evolving a large legacy codebase through refactoring, upgrades, and incremental migrations.
  • Deep experience with MySQL or another relational database, including data modeling and performance at scale.
  • Hands-on AWS experience.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, Pulumi, or similar.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across teams and departments.
  • Fluent English.
