Senior Infrastructure Solutions Engineer
Senior engineer designing and automating secure, resilient infrastructure across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments at Truist. The role focuses on observability, disaster recovery, and dependable enterprise platforms.
Descriere
- Design and operate enterprise infrastructure across cloud, networking, databases, storage, computing, platforms, and middleware.
- Automate and improve infrastructure solutions spanning on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Turn business and technical needs into reusable, documented, version-controlled engineering patterns that teams can support.
- Build and maintain automation with Ansible, Terraform, Python, Linux, Git workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Create reusable modules, playbooks, scripts, pipeline integrations, and automated fixes.
- Develop operational monitoring and telemetry with Splunk, Dynatrace, and other observability tools.
- Plan and validate high availability, failover, disaster recovery, and recovery testing.
- Lead investigation and resolution of complex infrastructure problems.
- Analyze root causes and performance, then implement corrective, preventive, and automated fixes.
- Bring technical expertise to design and readiness reviews for build, operations, and production.
- Direct complex technical work and present recommendations to technical teams and senior stakeholders.
- Guide, train, and support infrastructure teams and less experienced technical staff.
- Manage large infrastructure projects and programs in line with organizational priorities and regulatory obligations.
- Maintain compliance with technology strategies, standards, governance, and regulatory obligations.
- Work with infrastructure product teams, architects, application teams, reliability engineers, operations, security, service management, and external partners.
Cerințe
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent education, training, and work experience.
- At least 7 years of professional infrastructure engineering experience.
- Advanced knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, including cloud, networking, databases, storage, platforms, computing, and middleware.
- Strong automation and Infrastructure as Code experience with Ansible, Ansible Automation Platform, Terraform, Terraform Enterprise, Python, Linux, and Git workflows.
- Experience in resilience and disaster recovery engineering.
- Practical experience with observability tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, ThousandEyes, AppDynamics, or comparable platforms.
- Experience connecting infrastructure engineering with DevOps and CI/CD practices.
- Experience administering or troubleshooting OpenShift and Kubernetes.
- Demonstrated incident engineering, complex troubleshooting, root cause analysis, performance optimization, corrective planning, and automated remediation skills.
- Broad knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, including compute, operating systems, virtualization, networking, DNS, load balancing, firewalls, storage, backup and recovery, middleware, messaging, and cloud platforms.
- Experience with ServiceNow, MuleSoft, APIs, IBM MQ, Kafka, or similar enterprise platforms.
- Experience applying security, compliance, and governance controls in regulated settings.
- Financial services experience and relevant certifications are preferred.
