Descriere

  • Develop across a TypeScript monorepo that includes a Next.js 16 web application and API, an Expo mobile application, and a Cloudflare Worker.
  • Evolve the shared PostgreSQL and Prisma data model used by multiple applications.
  • Create and support webhook integrations for Plaid, Stripe, and Linq.
  • Build queued inbound-message batching and scheduled job workflows.
  • Maintain security-sensitive functionality for encrypted bank tokens, chat data, per-user access controls, and authentication across web and mobile.
  • Develop the AI platform, including LLM tool calling over users’ financial data, persistent memory, and proactive insights.
  • Critically review AI-generated code, including code you produce yourself.

Cerințe

  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • At least six years of professional software engineering experience.
  • At least three years delivering production TypeScript and Node.js backends.
  • Experience shipping software for a company that moved money or processed bank or card data, such as Plaid, Stripe Treasury, Unit, Synapse-era BaaS, card issuing, lending, or payroll.
  • Advanced PostgreSQL expertise, including live-safe migrations, indexing, transactions, and query-plan analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with asynchronous systems, including idempotency, retries, webhook deduplication, and jobs that can fail partway through execution.
  • A security-first approach to personally identifiable information, encryption at rest, authentication tokens, and least-privilege access.
  • At least one instance of independently owning production operations, including on-call work, error monitoring, and root-cause analysis.
  • Daily experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar, along with a clear understanding of their limitations.
  • Written English strong enough for pull-request descriptions and incident reports to stand alone without follow-up questions.
  • Preferred: Production Plaid experience involving webhooks, item re-authentication, or transaction-sync cursors.
  • Preferred: Production LLM experience with tool calling, prompt evaluation, and cost or latency management.
  • Preferred: Experience with the Next.js App Router and React Server Components.
  • Preferred: Experience with SMS or messaging compliance, including opt-outs and TCPA, or with Stripe subscription billing.
  • Preferred: Experience with Expo or React Native.
