Descriere

  • Assess the financial health of major clients using filings, earnings calls, ratings updates, news, and relationship data.
  • Maintain client scorecards covering liquidity, leverage, profitability, growth, and ownership or leadership changes.
  • Analyze concentration risk and identify clients and segments shaping revenue, margins, and growth.
  • Present portfolio reviews to the Controller and senior leaders, highlighting risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
  • Share client insights with Credit; the Credit team retains responsibility for limits and approvals.
  • Work with Sales and Operations on high-value and strategically important accounts.
  • Track industry and competitor trends, regulations, economic conditions, commodity and raw material prices, and supply chain disruptions.
  • Explain how market changes may affect clients, revenue expectations, and strategy.
  • Prepare monthly or quarterly industry updates for leadership.
  • Incorporate benchmarks and market data into strategy, budgets, and account plans.
  • Analyze how pricing, payment terms, rebates, and volume commitments affect margins and working capital.
  • Recommend guidelines for client terms and advise commercial teams on significant or unusual deals.
  • Contribute client and industry insights to the rolling cash flow forecast.
  • Model liquidity scenarios, including delayed client payments and industry downturns.
  • Coordinate with Accounting on forecast assumptions and explanations of variances.
  • Prepare presentations and dashboards for executives.
  • Conduct ad hoc strategic analyses at the request of the Controller and senior leaders.

Cerințe

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Four to seven years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, FP&A, equity or industry research, consulting, or a comparable field.
  • Strong financial statement analysis skills and ability to evaluate a company's financial condition and strategic position.
  • Experience researching industries and markets and drawing business conclusions from the findings.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, including scenario and sensitivity analysis.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to present clear, concise perspectives to senior leaders.
  • Curiosity, sound business judgment, and the ability to work independently on open-ended questions.
  • Experience using research platforms such as S&P Capital IQ, Bloomberg, PitchBook, or industry databases.
  • Familiarity with client credit risk reviews, contract or pricing analysis, and cash flow forecasting.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle, and BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Domo.
  • Experience in a B2B setting serving large enterprise clients.
  • Distribution or construction industry experience, including work with commodity-driven markets.
