Senior Business Intelligence Developer

Fortinet is seeking a senior BI developer to build governed Tableau analytics, AI-enhanced insights, and cloud data pipelines. The role combines dashboard engineering, machine learning deployment, and advanced SQL, Python, or R work.

Descriere

  • Create and maintain scalable, interactive Tableau dashboards.
  • Improve data models, DAX queries, and Tableau calculations for fast, reliable reporting.
  • Modernize legacy reporting systems with AI-enabled business intelligence frameworks.
  • Integrate Tableau Pulse, Einstein AI, and other native or third-party AI capabilities into analytics workflows.
  • Partner with data science teams to deploy machine learning models in executive dashboards.
  • Use generative AI to streamline data preparation, SQL, DAX, and Python code generation, and insight summaries.
  • Develop complex, efficient SQL queries.
  • Build ETL and ELT pipelines from cloud data warehouses.
  • Apply row-level security and data governance controls within BI environments.
  • Advise as a subject matter expert on emerging business intelligence and AI trends.
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools and technical frameworks.
  • Convert complex requirements from nontechnical stakeholders into detailed technical blueprints.

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least 8 years of professional experience with advanced Tableau calculations, data modeling, and enterprise-scale deployments.
  • Practical experience deploying modern AI and business intelligence features.
  • Expert proficiency in SQL.
  • Strong working knowledge of Python or R for advanced data manipulation and statistical modeling.
  • Demonstrated experience with cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse, or Snowflake.
  • Strong analytical skills, with an eye for UI/UX design and data storytelling.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple project timelines.
  • Exceptional communication skills for explaining technical AI concepts to business stakeholders.
  • U.S. work authorization without sponsorship is required; preferred qualifications include Tableau Desktop/Server Certified Professional certification, experience with Azure AI, AWS Bedrock, or Google Cloud AI, familiarity with Agile/Scrum, and exposure to Power BI, Zoho Analytics, or Qlik Sense.
