Senior Backend Software Engineer, MicroApps

Descriere

  • Lead development and upkeep of scalable backend features for the MicroApps platform.
  • Help set core architecture and establish sustainable technical direction.
  • Develop high-performance APIs with web and mobile frontend teams.
  • Support automated testing practices and review code.
  • Improve engineering processes continuously.
  • Monitor service health and performance to maintain high availability.
  • Bring modern AI development tools into engineering workflows for prototyping, refactoring, and documentation.
  • Organize codebase rules, technical documentation, and context files to improve AI accuracy in testing, code generation, and API design.
  • Deliver reusable, end-to-end templates for practical customer and partner use cases.
  • Connect internal platform services to third-party APIs and AI agents.
  • Integrate MicroApps with Workflows, Forms, Tasks, Shifts, and other platform features.

Cerințe

  • Strong experience in backend architecture, API design, and database management.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and application monitoring tools.
  • Proficiency with modern AI coding assistants and large language models.
  • Ability to organize technical context, write precise prompts, and manage complex context windows for AI tools.
  • Able to critically review, refactor, and secure AI-generated code to meet security and performance standards.
  • At least 5–8 years of practical backend software engineering experience.
  • Fluent in French and English.
  • Based near or able to commute to the Lyon/Tassin-la-Demi-Lune or Paris office.
  • Experience with Node.js and Python.
  • Experience with Fastify and Flask.
  • Knowledge of microservices and event-driven systems.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis.
  • Experience with Google Pub/Sub.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform and Azure.
  • Familiarity with GitHub, ArgoCD, and Claude Code.
